Great Grandma Elenor Dagle 86 - 1965 Ellensuburg Daily Record newspaper.
Mrs Elenor Dagle 86 of Longmont, Colo who spends her winters here with her daughter Mrs O.W. Teter on Route 1, is shown with some of the may quilts she and her family have made and put together this winter. Altogether, they have produced 11 finished quilts, some tied, some quilted. Working as a group to make the colorful, warm bedding are Mrs. Dagle, Mrs Teter, Mrs Teter's two daughters, Bonnie Heber and Betty Fields and the Teter's daughter in law Louise Teter. Working as a team they supply quilts for all the beds of the big family. Beside making quilts the group also makes beautiful afghans. Mrs Dagle's two other daughters are Mrs Evelyn Teter of Carnation and Mrs Helen Wood of Kent.

"Fine Art of Quilt Making in Practice" Mrs. Dagle is shown at right with her daughter, Mrs Vivian Teter and her Grandson's wife, Louise Teter as they put the finishing touches on a pretty quilt in the Teter's spacious dining room. The quilt fram is suspended on chairs and rolled up, out of the way when not being worked on.
